Jon Gosselin Slams Kate In GMA Interview

Jon Gosselin, 32, of ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′ reality TV fame did an interview with Good Morning America where he slams his estranged wife Kate Gosselin, 34, once again. He claims her “constant verbal “abuse” caused strife in their 10-year-marriage.
In the interview Jon tells ABC News’ Chris Cuomo:
“Our relationship will never be fixed… I don’t trust her anymore. I was abused … I was beaten down … I’m not going back to that life style.”
Jon also says Kate spread a different story to the media about the collapse of their marriage instead of the truth.
“She knows the truth. I wish to God, she would speak from emotions … She’s not speaking from the heart. Please — the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV.”
He claims the breaking point of their marriage happened when when he “stood up to Kate” for the first time, telling her that he wanted to go out and have fun with his friends for once.
“In 10 years, I’ve never gone out … When she said, ‘I don’t want you going out,’ I … I used to say, ‘OK, I’m not going to go out.’ I was very passive. This is the first time I said, ‘You know what? I want to see my friends. I’m going out.’
That was the first time in my life I ever stood up to Kate … I just felt like I had to take back some time in my life, and I did it. And I felt really good. I made my own decision … I was beaten down for so long, I couldn’t even make my own decision. And when I did, I was like, holy cow! You know? Yeah, what’s she gonna do? Divorce me? All right. Obviously. You know.”
Jon also claims that being married to Kate changed who he was:
“My mom and my brothers, they say to me, ‘It’s so good to have the real Jon back. It’s so good to have the warm, loving, kind, caring person that we knew you when you were … before you got married.’ I’ve changed for her. Because I loved her … But don’t forget who you are. That’s what happened to me.”
And when it comes to trying therapy to make their marriage work he says he went, but Kate refused to go:
“I learned about myself. If she’s not going to therapy, she’s not going to fix herself, then it’s not going to work. It takes two people. I have a $22,000 therapy bill. I mean, I tried to have marriage counseling. I did it myself. She refused to go.”
And to the viewers Jon says:
“I just want to let the world know that I’m a real person with feelings. OK, I’ve made mistakes. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to go out to the clubs. But we all learn from mistakes, except mine are public.”
Jon Gosselin’s Good Morning America interview airs Tuesday, Sept. 8, and continues on Primetime: Family Secrets at 10 p.m. ET.

Well, seems to me like he probably enjoyed having his life “controlled” for him – lazy people usually do. He is so passive agressive – he didn’t have to make any decisions about anything in his “abusive” marriage – Kate looked after everything. Then, when there was enough $$ and notariety tto leave his abusive marriage – he did! I don’t necessarily agree with the tone of their relationship – sometimes Kate was harsh. But, when you’re dealing with a passive aggressive who clearly has the emotional intelligence of a 10 year old, what’s a person to do? He “despises” Kate?? Imagine how she felt having to look after EVERYTHING and then gets told she’s abusive. I guarantee you that Kate probably was desperate for him to man up, take a stand and tell HER what to do! She was probably wanting someone (her husband!!) to look after/make decisions about ANYTHING! Even if it was something as simple as recycling!! Anyhow, good luck to them both! Although I think Jon needs more luck than Kate. My heart breaks for both….for different reasons.

Looks like Jon wasted his $22,000 that he spent on therapy. He still needs a lot more. Anyone whos gegets so angry about the way he let his wife treat him,Mayne he needs to see a therapist to help him let go of so much anger and hostility towards the mother of his 8 children.
