Jon Gosselin Dropped From TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8
September 29, 2009

TLC announced on Tuesday morning that starting Nov. 2 Jon Gosselin will no longer appear on the popular reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8. They also added that the show will have a new name titled Kate Plus 8.
A source close to Jon Gosselin says:
“Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on.”
The series first debuted on April 16, 2007, and became even more popular earlier this year when the couples marriage became troubled following the announcement that the two would be getting a divorce.
Kate Gosselin appears to be doing pretty well for herself in the middle of all the drama. She recently completed a stint as a guest host of The View, and has also reportedly taped a pilot for a talk show costarring Food Network’s Paula Deen.

I am really tired hearing about what a “sweetheart” Kate Gosselin is. The way she treated Jon in front of the camera is a clue to her true, controlling, and obnoxious personality. As a RN myself,I would never want this so-called nurse taking care of anyone I loved. Listen to several of the shows and she is always complaining.Every other sentence has the word “annoyed” coming out of her mouth. It’s too bad that making several million dollars in the past few years has spoiled this over dramatic diva. I got a laugh when she cried that Jon took all the money from their savings and that she will go to work at McDonalds if she has too! What a crock! As a registered nurse she can earn at least $50-65,000 a year -quite a bit more than a job flipping burgers! By the way, her own brother and sister-in-law have stated publically that they too are disappointed in Kate’s addiction to fame. Their words ” she’s not the same Kate we used to know-she seems to be only interested in fame at any cost.” The bottom line is, this show should have been pulled a long time ago. It is not normal for any child to be filmed for hours and hours every day. The Gosselin 8 finally deserve what most children have – a normal life.
