Johnny Depp Back For Pirates Of The Caribbean 4

It was confirmed yesterday by Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook that Johnny Depp will reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie.
Speaking at a Disney press conference at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theater, Cook also revealed Johnny will star as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s big screen adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s children’s novel ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ and in an adaptation of US TV show ‘The Lone Ranger’.
Johnny - who took to the stage dressed as Jack Sparrow wearing a Lone Ranger mask - will play the masked hero’s Native American sidekick Tonto in the movie, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
It is unlikely that Depp’s former co-star Keira Knightley, who played Elizabeth Swann in the first three films, will return.
When recently asked if she would ever consider doing another ‘Pirates of the Caribbean film’, Keira said:
“I think it was wonderful and an amazing opportunity and those films were just extraordinary and I was extremely lucky to be a part of them. But no. I think my pirating days may be over.”

I cant wait to see all of those movies. I have wanted them to do another pirate movie since leavig the theater of the last one

Wahoo !! finally I went to see potc3 4 times at the cinema and loved it every time! Can’t wait for the next film wether keira knightley and orlando bloom are in it makes no difference the ture star is Johnny Depp and i’m 100% sure that it will be fantastic !!

I believe that keria Knightly and Orlando Bloom should return in the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean because there is so many people
that look up to them and everyone would hate to see them go. What is so bad in playing in another one you already know everyone
and it looks like it is a lot of fun. I know that johnny depp is the number one star but the movie would not be the same with will
tuner or elizabeth. I hate when they make a series of movies with the same people and then they decide to make another one with
out some of the same people the movie is not the same and I don’t think that they will get the same crowd to come and see it.

Girls all over the planet have been emporewed by your performance of the “damsel indistress” who doesn’t sit idely waiting for her prince to rescue her, but who fearlessly gets up and going and does whatever needs to be done to make sure those macho guys don’t make a total mess of the situation!
Grab that hearththrob Orlando and come fight alongside Will Turner one more time.
The 2 of you alongside Johnny Depp has brought me more adventure, laughter, and romantic moments together in 1 (ok, 3) movies than anyone else I can remember.

D movie wn’t b d same witout kiera or orlando bloom in it. Yes we love johnny depp,but the total picture is balanced by the unique perfomance of those two lovers. And i would hate to see anyone else replace them. . . .

This is great. I’ll be very unhappy when they quit making these,
love Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow…..loads of fun and laughs. Jack Sparrow
has set up a whole new interest in Pirates for many members of the
SCA….and of course…..controversy on if they are period….

Why are you all crying that Kiera and Orlando won’t be in the 4th
movie? They could get much better actors to play their part. They
were the only thing wrong with the first three films and I’ll be
glad if they are not in the next one. All you really need is Johnny
Depp and the movie is a success.
Am I the only one who will be glad to see the back of Kiera Knightly
and Orlando Bloom?

I’m ready for a whole new story - Sparrow and Barbossa, 2 back-stabbing friends on some wild adventures!! No need for Will or Elizabeth but would like to continue seeing Gibbs and Cotton.
