Jim Carrey’s Daughter Auditions For American Idol

If you stayed up late last night and watched an audition episode of American Idol after the Giants and 49ers championship game then you saw Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane Carrey, audition on the show.

Jennifer Lopez stated she remembered her when she was a baby and on the set of In Living Color and she sang Bonnie Riatt’s Something To Talk About. The judges gave her a pass to Hollywood with Steven Tyler telling her “Good melody, you’ve got to work on the volume.”

She then placed a phone call to daddy Jim:

“Oh my God, is this going to be an exciting year,” Carrey gushed with pride after being told the happy news.

I have a feeling her being the daughter of a celebrity might hurt her chances of actually winning this season, but we’ll have to wait and see. I can’t wait for them to get to Hollywood!
