Jessica Simpson just can’t catch a break.  First she was in the news for her recent weight gain and now she’s in the news for having a bad night at a concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan Thursday night where she was opening up for Rascal Flatts.

Jessica reportedly was struggling with her ear monitors throughout the 38 minute show, forgot her lyrics, mumbled through songs and even appeared to be fighting back tears.

At one point, Simpson asked her band to start a song over and she completely forgot the lyrics to her single “Come on Over”.   She apologized to the supportive audience of about 9,000 by mouthing the word “sorry” on two large video screens.

While introducing her closing song, “Do You Know,” she talked about how she felt like walking off the stage and then at the end of the song, she thanked her band for “having her back.”

It is even reported that she appeared to be wiping away tears after finishing the song and walking off the stage.

A possible reason she was so flustered, other reports are saying that her boyfriend Tony Romo missed his flight to Grand Rapids, where he was supposed to watch her performing at Van Andel Arena.

Hang in there Jessica… Below is a partial video of her performance of Come on Over, but there’s no obvious errors in the clip..
