Desmotivaciones

Jennifer Lawrence is giving us our first look at her character Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming movie Hunger Games. She covers Entertainment Weekly’s latest issue. She opens up in an interview with the mag about what it felt like to be offered the role:

“I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change,” she says. “And I walked around an entire day thinking ‘It’s not too late, I could still go back and do indies, I haven’t said yes yet, it’s not too late.’”

“I love this story,” she says, “and if I had said no, I would regret it every day.”

After she said yes to the role the author of the books called the starlet to congratulate her saying “I feel like when you said yes the world got lifted off my shoulders.”

Many have questioned her being cast as Katniss, but I think they made the right choice and can’t wait to see the books come alive on the big screen. The first movie has begun filming in North Carolina and will hit theaters next March.
