Jenna Bush Hager Joins The Today Show
August 30, 2009

Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush, has joined NBC’s The Today Show by becoming a special correspondent.
Of her new job Hager, 27, says:
“It wasn’t something I’d always dreamed to do, but I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change.”
The program’s executive producer Jim Bell approached Jenna about the job and though she will keep her day job as a teacher in Baltimore, she will be contributing stories about once a month to the morning show.
She is expected to make her first behind-the-mic appearance on Today in September.
