Jake Gyllenhaal And Reese Witherspoon Split

People magazine is reporting that Reese Witherspoon, 33, and Jake Gyllenhaal, 28, have split.  No further details were givin.

The two co-starred in the move Rendition in 2007, which sparked rumors of a romance and by the summer of 2008 the rumors were confirmed.

Aww, I’m sad about this.  I thought they would last.

UPDATE:  Nanci Ryder and Carrie Byalick, Reps for both Jake and Reese, say,

“It is not true.  They are still together.”
