Fashion designer Tami Smith is suing Jaime Pressly over claims she was unfairly axed from the My Name Is Earl star’s fashion line J’aime after being hired to design pieces for and promote the popular line.

In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, Smith claims she made a deal with Pressly to “represent and market” her line and spent “substantial devotion of time and effort” doing so, only to have her commissions shelved by Jaime and her company.

She is suing the star for $150,000 in fees, reports TMZ.com.  A spokesman for Pressly was unavailable for comment.
