Is Michael Jackson Sick?

Ian Halperin, the author behind a new biography about Michael Jackson, is insisting that the fragile pop star is suffering from lung disease.
Halperin claims that Jackson is suffering from a condition known as Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, which is a potentially fatal genetic illness. Due to the condition, Jackson is reportedly losing vision in his left eye and has developed emphysema.
Halperin writes:
“He has had Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency for years, but it’s gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it. He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping. He can barely speak, the vision in his left eye has 95 per cent.
“For years Michael has been working with doctors to make sure it doesn’t progress. He has been on medications that have stabilized him.”
Although Fox News calls BS and says “Everyone can relax. Michael Jackson is not suffering from any life threatening diseases.”
And on a lighter note, MJ has reportedly just inked a deal to rent a decked out mansion in Holmby Hills, CA for $100,000 a month.
According to TMZ, the $38 million pad has seven bedrooms, 13 baths, 12 fireplaces, a screening room, a guesthouse, swimming pool and garden.
Didn’t we just learn that he is currently between $200 and $270 million in debt. Whoever is letting home rent out that room is just as wacko as him!

Michael Jackson is an amazing human being and talent that if anything should take him from this earth to soon, it would be
a tragic loss and we would miss his music and him more than we can ever know. Get well!! and we look forward to your # 1 hits in the next decades to come.

I was watching some of MJ’s old music videos and some of his concert footage. I so wish I was able to to attend one of his concerts years ago. I know it must have been magical.I don’t care what people say MJ is one of the greatest entertainer ever. These artists today just can not compair. I so hope he is doing well. He is in my prays.

I love Michael and if he is indeed ill I hope he fights through and gets well, what I don’t understand is why people are saying well he just closed a big deal on a new mansion so he’s not sick… NEWSFLASH: even if he was sick he is not dead and he can prchase anything he likes being sick. So the purchase is not justifying good health it is just saying the king of pp is still RICH!

Mike didnt always look like that, and he has always been very talented. I do agree that he does look bad and who really knows what he is going through but one thing is for sure he is and will always the MAN!!!!!! and another thing when writing notes and trying to diss someone you should always no how to spell.

Michael Jackson has made songs that I’m sure every person on this site has danced to and sung to I hope whatever he is going through that he comes out alright. He is not a young man anymore and only GOD can judge him for whatever he does or has done. I am a fan and will always be.

Why would any doctor wait over 30 minutes to dial 911 when a person is having a heart attack?
Why would any doctor give CPR to a person laying on a bed instead of putting the person on a hard surface to get the effect needed for this process to work?
Why would a doctor give a person a drug that can stop the heart with not defibrillator nearby to help restart the persons heart?
Why would any doctor say he didn’t know where he was when he’s been tot he persons home many times?
Why would anyone keep a persons family from attempting to intervene to help the person the doctors hooked on narcotics?
Why in would anyone show a picture of a man whose head is on fire?
Why did the doctor not come out and give the medical reasons that causes the doctor to give a persons narcotics?
Why do people criticize and attempt to ostracize a person who has given millions to charities and the sick and dying?
If you have the answers hit me up with them because I certainly do not, that is unless the person was murdered for their money. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Why did this doctor wait over 30 minutes to dial 911, since he suspected Michael Jackson was having a heart attack? Help was less than 10 minutes away from Michaels residence!
Why did this doctor give Michael Jackson CPR while his body was laying on a bed, instead of moving him to a hard surface (aka floor)? A hard surface helps the person, who is being given CPR!
Why would any doctor give Michael Jackson, a powerful heart stopping narcotic, without a defibrillator nearby, to help restart his heart? The doctor should also know about any addiction!
Why would a doctor say he didn’t call 911 right away because he didn‘t know where he was, especially since doctors car was towed away from Michael Jackson’s residence! He said working for Michael Jackson was a once in a life time opportunity but now he says he didn’t know the mans address! duhhhhhhhhhh
Why would anyone try to stop Michael Jackson’s family from attempting to him, if he was on drugs?
A doctor who knows the persons medical history would be the first to try and get him some help.
Why aren’t the doctors stating what made Michael Jackson take drugs if this is what he did?

Poor Michael. Apparently he was quite fatalistic about his early demise… He believed he would be killed for the music publishing rights / royalty income he owned (which included The Beatles music), which made him worth more dead than alive. He even predicted he would die in his 50s. Hmmmmm.
He knew they were after him, and they were closing in, but I guess even he did not know just how close? They got rid of the staff who really cared and understood him. Where was nanny Grace Rwaramba - the one who could contact his mother and sister? She’d been sent away - because MJJ was so hooked on those painkillers he did not want her around to upset his drug supply. Why were his bodyguards changed and replaced with NOI ones?
Did he really “convert” to Islam or was he a helpless addict who would do /say anything for a fix? What really happened between him and the Bahraini hotshot? Whom did he owe so much money they wanted him dead? There really are so many questions, mspaap2u, I have to agree that some of them will remain riddles, just like Marilyn Monroe’s sudden death!
Poor Michael, if one could turn back time, I would try and reach you, hold you in my arms, comfort you. Alas, you’re gone, like a lamp snuffed out before the break of day. A new dawn was just about to break for you. An awesome opportunity to showcase your awesome talent and bless a new generation of fans as well as your old loyal fans. Alas it was not to be.
