INFDaily has a great recap from the press conference this morning for David Beckham and the LA Galaxy.
David Beckham was unveiled as the ‘great white hope’ of US soccer this morning at the LA Galaxy’s stadium Home Depot Stadium. During a sometimes forced welcome speech, Becks mistakenly called the game “football” instead of ’soccer” then apologized to fans, saying “I’ll have to get used to that.” He did sound sincere when he told the crowd that he was glad to be in LA, and was looking forward to the challenge of playing for the Galaxy.

Everyone thinks that david beckham is going to score 10 goals a game, this isnt true. I bet he doesnt score a goal all season.
