Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has landed the cover of NYLON Guys November issue.

On turning 40: “It was relieving, cause for the three months before it, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Then when it happened, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m still alive.’ That’s what’s been freaking me out lately, how it passes.”
On how his music has changed : “I’d been singing about hate and setting things on fire for so long, I guess it was about time I wrote about this.”
