Grandfather of Caylee Anthony found after being reported missing
January 23, 2009
Grandfather of slain toddler Caylee Anthony was found by police at a Hawaiian Inn hotel in Daytona Beach after being reported missing Thursday night.
The Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway, told CNN affiliate WFTV that Anthony was taken into custody under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows the state to hold people involuntarily pending a psychiatric evaluation. Police say George Anthony hinted he wanted to end his life.
His daughter, Casey Anthony, is charged with killing Caylee, who’s skeletal remains were found in the woods about a half-mile from George Anthony’s home.
