Farrah Fawcett Has Passed Away
June 25, 2009

The gorgeous Farrah Fawcett has lost her battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 62.
She died at 9:28 a.m. PST on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, Calif. She had recently returned there for treatment of complications from anal cancer, which was first diagnosed three years ago.
Ryan O’Neal, Fawcett’s longtime partner, told People Magazine:
“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages. She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now. She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn’t say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us.”
Although O’Neal recently revealed that he and Fawcett had planned to marry, they did not tie the knot. He added:
“There just wasn’t time, and Farrah wasn’t in any condition to do it.”
There will be a funeral service held in the next couple of days for friends and family plan to honor Fawcett at a Catholic cathedral in Los Angeles.
So, so sad. Our hearts go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.
