Season 3 American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino welcomed a son, Dallas Xavier Barrino, on Tuesday in North Carolina.
Baby Dallas weighed 7 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches long and the proud new mom tells People:
“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”
Barrino shared the news of her pregnancy back in August during a charity concert in Jacksonville.
Although the singer has been romantically linked to Antwaun Cook since summer 2010, the father has not been mentioned. Fantasia alos has a 10-year-old daughter, Zion.
