Fans Want Larry Johnson Fired - Petition

Even though Larry Johnson is only 80 yards away from becoming the all time leading rusher for the Kansas City Chiefs, fans want him OUT!
After his anti-gay slur scandal last week (2 within 24 hours) and getting a 2-week suspension, Chiefs fans want him kicked off the team before he has the chance to make history.
Loyal Chiefs fans are passing around a petition, begging the team owner to deactivate Larry Johnson and keep him out of the Chiefs Hall of Fame forever.
The petition reads:
“We are asking you, as fans of this team, this organization, and of the pride that this city has in the Chiefs, please deactivate Larry Johnson. Please do not let his name sit atop the all-time rushing leaders in Kansas City Chiefs history. He has never represented anything close to the values that we have for our Chiefs and it would be another dagger to the fans that continue to support this proud franchise.”

what the hell is wrong with freedom of speech. what he said about quirs really doesnt discredit what he has done as an athlete. and just what values do u fans have. obvioulsy none that r ancestors fought and died for. maybe he thinks the gays should have stayed n the closet instead of being allowed to let our children think this same sex crap is normal, remember adam & eve not adam & steve.but if they get rid of him it b normal 4 kc let all good players go thats why there such a good team. wake up america,

Jethro, you have clearly not read the petition. Larry Johnson is underperforming and overpaid. This petition has nothing to do with his recent comments. It has everything to do with a career of behavior that is unbecoming of a Kansas City Chief. Larry most recent bigoted comments are only a small part of why he does not deserve to be atop the list of Kansas City Chief rushers. He may very well obtain the rushing title, but he will never…ever be considered one of the greatest Chiefs of all time. This is not a 1st amendment, pro-gay , pro-life, pro-choice or whatever small headed argument you (Jethro), would like to attribute to the petition. Larry Johnson sucks as a person and has become a crappy running back. He does not deserve the any honor much less the honor of being the best rusher in Chiefs history
