Eva Mendes Would Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur

Eva Mendes jumped on for PETA’s hot new winter anti-fur campaign, ‘I’d Rather Go Naked’. Her poster is set to be unveiled somewhere in Rockefeller Plaza today, but city authorities have asked the organizers not to announce the time or exact place of the event, becasue they fear that a “mob scene” will most likely occur!
She says: “There are way too many amazing faux fur options out there for people to still be wearing real fur“

PETA is a ridiculous and crazy organization. If you don’t believe me, watch Penn and Teller’s “Bullshit” episode on PETA. If PETA had their way, our medical research would come to a standstill, then we’d really have a fucking healthcare crisis. That being said, I agree that Ms. Mendez is doing this simply for publicity so that dumb hippie PETA freaks will watch her movies/buy her shit ect ect. Besides, when an animal dies it’s fur goes to waste anyway, why not end its life a little sooner and put that fur to good use. Where did we get this idea that animals even have a consiousness anyway?

There are more rational and balanced organizations than PETA who support campaigns to stop the fur trade (such as many wildlife conservation organizations) she should have worked with instead. Supporting those fascist zealots only increases divisiveness and weakens the effort.
As an aside, I have to agree she looks rather in poor shape physically. I personally don’t find women who don’t take care of their bodies sexy at all. I’ll pass on her–she looks nondescript to me.
