Emma Watson Chops Hair For ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Audition

 

Harry Potter star Emma Watson recently chopped off her long locks into a pixie-style crop in a bid to win the lead role in the film ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.’

Watson is hoping her new short hair will help her win over the part of computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in the big screen adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s best-selling novel.  Though it won’t be a easy task as she is up against other big names like Ellen Page, Natalie Portman, Carey Mulligan and Kristen Stewart.

Aceshowbiz quoted a source as saying:

“Emma has auditioned with director David Fincher and cut her hair to look the part. The character of Lisbeth is a misfit with spiky hair.”
