Elin Nordegren’s Mother Barbro Holmberg Hospitalized

After WAY too much speculation, there has finally been details released as to who the blonde female was that was taken in an ambulance from Tiger Woods home around 2:30 a.m.

Health Central Hospital hospital spokesman Dan Yates confirmed that the woman who was rushed to a hospital from Tiger Woods’ Florida home was his 57-year-old mother-in-law, Barbro Holmberg, a well-known politician in Sweden and Elin Nordegren’s mom.

Yates says:

“Barbro Holmberg, mother of Elin [Nordegren], was admitted to Health Central Hospital with stomach pain. She’s in stable condition and is currently undergoing evaluation.  Media reports other than this attributed to this matter have been erroneous and speculative, and we ask that her privacy be respected at this time.”

A family member has confirmed that Holmberg is stable and is being evaluated.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department has released record of the 911 call from Woods’ home in Windermere at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday.
