DWTS Gilles Marini Suffers Shoulder Injury

Whew, this season is cursed!!  First, before season 8 of Dancing With The Stars officially even started, Jewel and Nancy O’Dell had to drop out due to leg/knee injuries and now hottie Gilles Marini has been injured.

But never fear ladies, he’s not planning on dropping out of the competition!

A rep for the actor confirmed on Thursday by saying:

“Gilles Marini has separated his shoulder but still is dancing.”

On the season opener Monday night Marini and his partner Cheryl Burke earned 24 out of 30 points, which was the highest score of the night.

Two-time DWTS Champ Burke is looking at an incentive program to get fans to vote for her and the French actor (who is also known as “The Guy No One’s Heard Of”) saying:

“Every week we advance, he will lose one piece of clothing.”

“He’s the naked guy from the Sex and the City movie, and people know he has a great body. So he can pull it off.”
