Disney’s Friends For Change: Project Green Music Video

September 8, 2009

The opening theme for The Disney Channel’s new social campaign ‘Friends For Change: Project Green’ is complete.

It’s performed by a few of Disney’s favorites The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato.

The song is said to represent Disney’s effort to encourage kids to make environmental changes in their daily lives and go green.

This “Friends for change” Project is nothing but a publicity stunt.
Disney states on its commercial that they will donate
one million dollars!!! only!! c’mon seriously one million from a
company that makes hundreds of millions and more, you
got to be kidding. If they expect to really help multiple
environmental projects with only a million dollars they
obviously aren’t in it to make much of an impact.

My name is Lauren Marks. I am a 13 year old, eighth grader from the Philadelphia area.
    I am just one kid.
I am representing just one school.
I am trying to do just one project.
    But…I need your help.

I have a few short, but important questions to ask you over the phone.
Twenty minutes of your time will make a difference.
    Just twenty minutes…

I am trying to tell the kids in my school all about Disney’s Friends for Change.
I know I can read the website–I have done that.

My teacher said I MUST have a personal phone conversation before I may present it to the school.

Yes, I’m one kid in one school. We are about to be part of your this exciting initiative.

Please tell me your name, title and telephone number and I will call in the next two weeks.
Remember, all I am asking is 20 minutes of your time. You CAN make a difference. Let’s ALL be FRIENDS for CHANGE!
