Dennis is still a dumbass – even jokingly uttering that we the public might believe that the former Gitmo inmates could possibly end up in our “neighborhoods.” Still very scary that he thinks just because he doesn’t like someone that their rights to some sort of legal process shouldn’t be considered.
I don’t personally care about the Gitmo (and other post-911) detainees either but it’s hardly the point – we need to at least charge them – although at this point even that would be suspect knowing what the Bushies were like.
Dennis – you USED to be so funny – my only remaining curiosity is to wonder which branches of the Armed Services your own sons are serving in.

Cursing Dennis Miller doesn’t eliminate the fact he is a guest on Leno, while you’re at home watching Leno on your couch. Or that he has his own radio show and best seller on the New York Times best seller list. Just because YOU don’t fine him funny doesn’t mean other didn’t. The people on the Tonight Show seemed to love him!

You completely missed Miller’s point Randall. He never said or even
implied that he believes the freaks at Gitmo should be denied due
process. What he said was that Obama’s placing the Gitmo thing high
on his list of week one priorities as president with issues as
important as the economy and “stimulus” package looming made no sense
and I’m sorry, but he’s 100% right about that.
And regarding your parting shot about sons in the armed services. Are
you libs never going to admit that there is no draft in this country?
Nobody goes to Iraq against their will and service men and women
overwhelming support our operations in the middle so who exactly do
you think you’re defending?

That interview was so scripted. It was like that lame late night comedy show where the comedians give the host a list of questions to ask that they have already created a skit to. That is exactly what Dennis did. He obviously gave it a lot of thought to come up with his sometimes funny, but mostly lame ramblings. After all, how could the majority of the country be wrong?

How could a majority of the country be wrong? Do you actually think
that a majority decision automatically equals the most intelligent
and therefore correct decision? Consensus does NOT equal fact or
right. As the late, great George Carlin once said, “Consider how
stupid the average person is, and then remember that half of the
people are DUMBER THAN HIM.” Best book my ticket in the handbasket
as we all head straight to hell.

No, I don’t believe that a majority decision equals the most intelligent decision. However, I agreed with everything Obama preached during his campaign. More so than the other guy. So, in my eyes, Will, and what I believe, the majority is correct.

Dennis Miller should stick to comedy, a profession he’s ocassionally good at! But as a right-wing know-it-all, he wins more votes for the left wing than he can possibly believe. Glib is not good!
