David Letterman Makes Paris Hilton ‘Sad’

Damn, I’m so bummed I missed this. Paris Hilton appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman last night and he kept cracking jokes about her summer stay in jail. On another note, what’s up with her elbow??
At one point during the interview, an audience member screamed, “I love you Paris!” Letterman quipped, “Is that somebody you met in prison?” Ha! As the crowd erupted in laughter, Paris paused and said, “I didn’t come here to talk about this. That was a long time ago. Now you’re making me sad that I came.”
Letterman then apologized and had Paris purring again.

I saw the clip. Letterman crossed the line there. He wasn’t funny. He just came across as a bitter old man who should be ’sent upstairs’. He was just old and mean. If he thinks she doesn’t deserve to sit in that chair, he shouldn’t book her for the show, not use her as a scratching post.
I thought Paris handled herself very well, considering. He even dogged her when a member of the audience called out his support. She doesn’t deserve to be dragged through the coals like that, especially since she served her time, it’s been some time since then, and she was on the show to promote a product, which he then proceeded to make a mockery of and make seem very undesirable. Her people could sue him for corporate sabotage.
Many other celebs have done time or gotten in trouble. When they go on a show to promote their next project, that’s what they talk about - not what did they eat in jail and implying that would be their legacy. He just sucks.
He is a tired, mean, geri-priapic old goat that needs to be put away - RETIRED. He’s got IMS, Irritable Man Syndrome. Andropause is an ugly thing. Check your hormones dude and then check out that pasture. Paris showed a lot more class than you on that show, and if I were her, I wouldn’t be back.

Did anyone see an interview w/ Paris where the interviewer was asking her about being a Hilton, then making indirect references to her sex videos?
I thought it was w/ David Letterman.
