David Cook wins American Idol

 

David Cook, the 25 year old rocker won by an amazing 12 million votes, amassing 56% of 96 million votes beating 17 year old pop tart David Archuleta. With 14 to 1 odds of winning American Idol when the Top 24 were determined, I know I can’t be the only one shocked that he won. I just wish I would have dropped some money on it.

David Cook broke down after his name was announced as the winner.  His brother and  mother were in the audience and celebrated with him.
