Danica McKellar In New York For Math

 

Actress Danica McKellar, of The Wonder Years and The West Wing, stopped by Good Day on Friday. (See Video Below)

Winnie Cooper Danica is in New York this week to speak at the Celebration of Teaching and Learning conference where she will speak to thousands of educators at the conference about the importance of getting young girls excited about math.

The actress-turned-mathematician has written two math books, ‘Math Doesn’t Suck’ and ‘Kiss My Math’ both which are aimed at getting middle-school girls excited about math.

And in other Danica news, she is newly engaged to music composer Mike Verta.  the two have been dating for 2 years.
