Couple That Had 16 Kids Shot And Killed During Home Invasion

How tragic.

Byrd and Melanie Billings, a couple in Escambia County, Florida that had 16 kids, were found dead on Thursday night in their home.  Both had been shot in a reported home invasion. The police are investigating their death as a homicide.  None of the children were harmed during the shooting. They say 8 of the children were home at the time of the shooting.

According to WKRG, of the 16 children 12 of them were adopted, some having special needs.

Police are now on a manhunt for three men wanted in the murder.  They have few leads, and say the murders happened right near the Alabama Florida borders.
