Corey Haim Found Dead Of Apparent Accidental Overdose *Updated*

TMZ is reporting that 80’s heartthrob Corey Haim, 38, died this morning of an apparent accidental overdose.
The LAPD says they were called to St. Joseph’s hospital in Burbank, CA shortly before 4AM PT to investigate.
Haim became famous in the 80s, co-starring in a number of films like License To Drive, Dream A Little Dream and The Lost Boys with Corey Feldman.

Wow, this is sad. We used to crush over him while watching him in those movies.
Our hearts are with his friends and family during this difficult time.
UPDATE:
According to Haim’s mother, he had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for several days before finally stumbling in front of at her Los Angeles apartment early Wednesday morning.
L.A. County Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter says:
“Some time after midnight, he got up, he was dizzy and unsteady on his feet and knelt down. His mom helped him to a bed and he became unresponsive in about a minute or so. She dialed 911 and he was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 2:15 a.m.”
