Convicted Murderer Christopher McCuin Found Dead In Jail Cell

Christopher McCuin, 25, was found unresponsive in his Smith County jail cell on Sunday. Foul play is not suspected as he was in a cell alone.
McCuin was charged with capital murder in January in the death of his 21-year-old girlfriend Jana Shearer. Police said they found an ear boiling in a pot on a stovetop at the crime scene, and a hunk of flesh on a plate and impaled on a fork at the kitchen table. Authorities say it was unclear whether McCuin consumed any part of the woman’s body.
A published report says the friends and family of a woman whose mutilation killer died in a Texas jail have mixed emotions over the man’s death.
The Tyler Morning Telegraph says the loved ones are relieved the man can no longer harm anyone, while regretting that he will not go to trial.

I was Jana’s neighbor and friend…Its so hard not to miss her and think about her on a daily basis. She was honestly the nicest girl i’ve ever met. She would give you the shirt off your back,and the tags could still be on it. She wouldnt care a bit.
The way this story ended is the way it was suppost to end. And no were not regretting that it didnt go to trial. Since his plea at this time and was going to stay “not guilty” then those representing him would do nothing but defend him, not jana. And the last thing that anybody who knew jana would want would be for her name to be ruined and for people to remember her for anything else other than what she was..A sweet, caring, halarious, generous, girl who rarely put herself first. Things have a weird way of being misconstruewed sometimes…
None of us are sad that he is dead, but even tho it is it does not nigate the fact that she is too. Iits all very very sad and heartbreaking when we think about jana not walking into the room anymore. But we have to think of the positive…and the positive would be jana and the beautiful memories we all shared with our dear friend.

I just wanted to add how sad I feel this situation is as well. My
prayers go out to not only Jana Shearer’s family and friends but also Chris McCuin’s
family as well. In a situation like this nobody wins. But I pray that
they are in heaven.

Sexy? Go to the zoo you cretin you’ll find an equally sexy male chimp. These men are horrible looking and I guess thats their charm. For her part, though she didn’t deserve to die…she did keep company of this type of man. You reap the seeds you sew…beautiful or not she typifies the unabashed arrogance and stupidity of the modern white american woman.

where were her parents and how did she end up even knowing someone like that i caaught this story a while ago and to think that this incident happened years ago it still frightens me that you never really know who you are dealing with and where their mind is
