Conan O’Brien Heading Out On Tour

Conan

Ever since his end on ‘The Tonight Show’ things have been quiet on the Conan O’Brien front, but according to The Wrap, Team Coco fans will have something to look forward to: a tour of live stage shows.  Now fans will have a much better shot at seeing their favorite comedian since he’ll reportedly be hitting the road and not parked in either New York or LA.

The Wrap says:

Conan O’Brien is about to finalize a plan to hit the road in the next few months, performing a live show in several cities across the country, a person familiar with the plans told TheWrap.  His representatives at William Morris Endeavor, which has a unit devoted to live appearances, have been working to secure dates for several days now.The idea has been in the works for almost two weeks now, but nobody has wanted to talk about it because mounting such an event won’t be easy.  While nothing’s official yet, if the tour goes forward — and all signs are that it will — it would be a clever work-around to the clause in O’Brien’s exit settlement from NBC that prohibits him from appearing on TV until September.

That would be soooo cool, as I would be one of the first to get tickets, but I still want to know what his plans are for television! I miss seeing him every night. His sketches are way above any of his competitors. NBC made a bad move getting rid of him. Hopefully it will be to another network’s advantage. He’s one of my absolute favorite comedians!
