Clueless Sequel In The Works?

Alicia Silverstone, 32, is reportedly ready to reprise her role as ditzy fashionista Cher Horowitz in an upcoming sequel to the 1995 popular teen comedy film, Clueless.
According to Star Magazine Alicia was shopped along Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana, California with Clueless writer and director Amy Heckerling and the two were overheard chatting that the film will finally get a sequel.
A source says:
“They were talking about the script they’re working on and how exciting this is for them…It’s been a dream of Alicia’s to bring Cher back to the big screen. Amy is writing it, but Alicia is giving her tons of ideas.”
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this, but I must admit I’ve seen it way more times then I want to admit. Fun, fun movie!
There was a lot of great people in the film. I wonder if the rest if them would reprise their roles like Stacey Dash, Brittany Murphy, Paul Rudd, Breckin Meyer and Donald Faison.

This movie was my life growing up! If they can get everyone from the original cast to do it then that would be great. We can see if Dionne and Murray are still together and if Cher ended up with Josh. lol

I loved this film!!!!! I had just moved to Los Angeles before the Big Screen release!!! My Best Friends and I saw this movie - paid cash every time- like 14 times in the theatres between Hawthorne Mall and Del- Amo!! We went once or twice a week!! We loved that the girl from the Aerosmith video was the lead character. I related Cher’s mom being dead before she could know her to my Grandma’s death before I could know her!! I was an aspiring Corporate Lawyer then and it all “fit”. Never even knew what the bong was or who Marky Mark was until years later- thought the honey bear contraption was some weird guy thingy! I loved that she had an updated closet from the one of ‘Natalie’s’ in “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”- I loved that yellow plaid outfit! My friends and I lived in Contempo- wore the similar clothes to the one’s in the film -it was like the Beverly version of us- We treasure this film! A Part 2- or Sequel would be adored- Just, please, do it right all the way!! Perhaps see if Liv Tyler is up for a gig. Who knows - work your magic!
