And Adele’s moving dedication last night caused the arena to light up as one in solidarity for Brussels, which made for her most touching tour moment yet.
During Adele’s final night of her 6-night residency in London’s O2 Arena, one concertgoer captured footage of the singer dedicating one of her classic hits “Make You Feel My Love” to the victims of the bombings in Brussels that occurred earlier that same day.
Before she began, Adele asked the audience to light up the venue with their phones, and sing along with her, which she can be heard saying to her crowd QUOTE, “This is ‘Make You Feel My Love’ and this is for Brussels tonight. I want you to all sing it with me, all right, so they hear us.” Take a look:
After the performance, Adele, who was completely in awe of the crowd’s reaction, said, QUOTE, “I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved before in my life at one of my shows, that was just so beautiful. Thank you very much for doing that… I think they heard us.”
That totally just gave me major chills, as I’m sure the entire audience and fans around the world also felt the love last night.
