Chyna Taken To Hospital After Having Too Many Birthday Drinks

TMZ is reporting that Chyna, aka Joanie Laurer, was rushed to the hospital early Saturday on her birthday after having too many drinks. They say she was so drunk when she was admitted, the shrinks at hospital couldn’t even do a psych evaluation.
So much for Celebrity Rehab!
Paramedics were called to her home in Burbank just before 5:00 AM. Saturday. She was celebrating her birthday with a few friends and had a way too many drinks — which didn’t mix well with her prescriptions.
Friends found her passed out with cuts on her arms and were so worried, they called 911. After she was taken to the hospital, doctors wanted to perform a psych evaluation, but her blood alcohol level so high they had to wait.
When TMZ spoke with Chyna in the hospital she said:
“All I really want right now is a hamburger and fries right now.”

I just got an update on Chyna from her manager, Mike Esterman…
As of 9:30 am (EDT) doctors are speculating that Chyna’s birthday overdose which landed her in the hospital may have been a suicide attempt and are reportedly planning to file a 5150 order to keep Chyna in the hospital for at least 3 days mental evaluation.
Over the past few years Chyna has battled with alcoholism off and on and also reportedly suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Chyna’s manager also said that Chyna will be checking into rehab for a second time this year, once she is released from the hospital. He says Chyna is more than willing to re-enter rehab after this and claims it was her “wake up call”

Mike Easterman is NOT CHYNA’S manager. He was at one time doing some minor booking for CCHYNA and has not been in contact with him since a simple meeting 2 weeks ago. There is no and never has been any contract between CHYNA and Mike Eastman for any services.
Everybody needs to take a chill pill. CHYNA has just finished a movie and a video shoot (both releasing early 2009.)
She was prescribed new medication a couple of weeks ago and the combination of the new medicine and alcohol was not good. This was not a problem during the video shoot or the movie shoot just recently finished.
In her excitement to celebrate a great video shoot and her birthday which started at midnight Friday night she made an unfortunate decision forgetting about the warning regarding the new medicine. She blacked out and fell into the mirrored closet doors which broke and caused some minor cuts and bruises. Admittedly, when she fell it was scary and things looked worse than it was to us. She was released by the doctor’s, from the er room, without ever being admitted into the hospital.
As for her wanting her hamburger and fries, TMZ contacted her on her cell phone while she was waiting for her friends to get back from MOE’S with her avocado, mushroom, bacon and cheese burger(swiss since someone out there is wondering). None of us had eaten since dinner the night before and that was the only thing on anyone’s mind.

Mike Esterman is not CHYNA’s manager and we are not sure how he got this title on her website. Be assured it will be taken down immediately. CHYNA is contacting her website controller as we speak. He is out of country and will have it changed by morning. CHYNA has not seen or spoken with Mike in a couple of weeks and there are no contracts of any kind in place. He had met with CHYNA about some minor bookings that never materialized and has no other bussiness with her. Anyone else proporting to be her manager at this time is lying. Mad Dad Promotions and Hybrid Culture Entertainment are acting in her behalf as friends only. Trying to let the world know what really happened as we were there.

Thank you for this! I am disgusted by the fact the wrestling media does not check their sources and posts anything they feel like.

The statements that are cirulating are false and are NOT quoted by myself and have not talked to any press outlets about CHYNA and her present condition as I am unaware of the events at hand.
