Christian Bale To Star In The New Terminator Movie

Actor Christian Bale is in talks to star in the next installment of the Terminator movie franchise. The “Batman Begins” star is said to be interested in reprising the role of John Connor - a role originally played by Edward Furlong - in the forthcoming Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.
Bale’s involvement in the new movie comes shortly after it was revealed action star-turned-California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger would not be appearing in the fourth Terminator film.
But producer Moritz Borman refuses to confirm or deny rumours about Bale joining the movie’s cast. He tells British film magazine Empire, “No comment. You can draw your own conclusions from that.” But he IS listed on the Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins IMDb page.
There were rumors that Vin Diesel had been approached for a part in the film, but Borman put an end to those rumors saying: ”I can tell you that Vin Diesel is not somebody we’re currently talking to.”
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is slated to hit cinemas in 2009.

Who cites IMDB as a legitimate source!? It’s so ridiculously unreliable and maintained by fans/absolutely anyone who gets the off-the-cuff whim to make some casting rumours, like wikipedia.
Combined with the “Russel Crowe will be in The Dark Knight” article you treat as true…..this site is terrible.

“Reprise” means to “return to the role” (in acting terms).. he’s NEVER done it before so he can’t “reprise” his role!

Wow, if you don’t like the story, then move on. This is a ‘gossip’ site…same thing as rumors. These are the current rumors, therefore they are on a gossip site.
I understood what they ment by ‘reprise’ hes going to bring back the role. It’s simple. Get over it.

As everybody knows, Terminator movie ended on Terminator 2. Terminator 3 was crap and Terminator 4 will be worse.

Congratulations. You all fail at comprehending the article. They never said Bale was coming back as Connor again, but that the role of Connor was interested in the “reprising the role of John Connor”. The return of the ROLE of John Connor. Got it?
Also, no Ahhhnuld because this is about the war, before they made the advanced models with skin and hair, so Ahhnuld wouldn’t even be there yet. Wow, people, seriously. Stop and think for a second, please.
