Chris Evans Set To Play Captain America

There’s been a lot of rumors flying around as to who was going to be starring in the upcoming movie Captain America.  Ryan Phillippe was the most recent actor rumored to be up for the role, but Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Chris Evans, of Fantastic Four fame, has just signed a deal to play Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.

Sources tell THR that Evans has not only accepted Marvel’s offer, but “that the dealmaking moved so fast it’s now all about dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.”
