Charlie Sheen Back In Rehab

Charlie Sheen has check himself into rehab just two weeks after his wife Brooke Mueller began in-patient treatment and two days after child services visited their home in what was described as a “routine” visit.

Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield confirmed the news saying:

“As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility.  He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored.”

CBS released a separate statement saying the network and show producers of his show Two and Half Men:

“support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary in-patient care at a treatment center. We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter.”

CBS also confirmed that production on the show had been “temporarily suspended.

Sheen and Mueller have 11-month-old twin boys and so far it’s unclear who is caring for them while their parents are away.
