Carrie Underwood Gets Her Own 2 Hour Variety Show Special

 

FOX is giving fourth-season American Idol winner (and one of my favs) her very own two-hour variety special over the Holidays.

The 26-year-old will host Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton and fellow Idol alum David Cook on her show, which will air Dec. 7  and is tentatively titled Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special.

Carrie, whose new album, Play On, is set to be released Nov. 3, will sing her hits, holiday classics and songs from her new CD, as well as perform in comedy skits.

Anyone remember the Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson Variety Show? MmmHmm.

I love Carrie and her voice is amazing so I’m sure this will be a great Holiday show to watch
