Bryant Gumbal Reveals His Battle With Lung Cancer

This morning while playing co-host on ‘Live! with Regis and Kelly’ Bryant Gumbel announced his battle with lung cancer.

Tuesday morning, the veteran news man revealed to all that he had a secret surgery to remove a malignant tumor in his chest and part of his lung.

“We had told a few people, we told my family, obviously.  I even kept it from my staff at ‘Real Sports.’ So I’m okay for the time being.”

He added that he will be visiting the doctor soon for a check-up saying:

“I’m hoping they green light me to play golf again.”
