Brooklyn Decker Short Hair

Brooklyn Decker Long Hair

Sports Illustrated model and Just Go With It star Brooklyn Decker chopped 10 inches off of her gorgeous blond hair on Tuesday in the penthouse suite of the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

She Tweeted photos of her cute new do, thanking stylist Ted Gibson and colorist Jason Backe, with the caption:

Chopped my hair OFF today!! Thank you!! I love!! @jasonhueman @tedgibson

Of the new sexy look Gibson says:

“Brooklyn’s updated, modern bob is on trend for 2011.  Shorter hair can be sexy, confident and super modern, and I think hair that is too long isn’t chic or fashionable right now.”

Backe adds:

“I incorporated two trends: gold tones — super hot for spring and summer! — and bold, contrasting ribbons of blond,” he explains. “[We’re] stepping away from the monochromatic or subtle tone-on-tone looks from the last few seasons.”

Only bad news is that she couldn’t donate it to Locks of Love.  When a followers asked her if she donated she replied:

I wanted to! But my hair was colored so I couldn’t :(
