Brangelina Suing News Of The World Over Break-Up Rumors

Brad Pitt, 46 and Angelina Jolie, 34, are suing London’s News of The World tabloid for claiming on January 24 that that they were planning to split and had agreed to divide their assets and made arrangements for the custody of their six children, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 3, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 18 months.

Brangelina’s lawyer Keith Schillings tells BBC News that the couple have begun legal proceedings against the NOTW and that the tabloid report contained:

“false and intrusive allegations” and that the paper failed to meet a demand for a retraction and apology for the article which was “widely republished by mainstream news outlets.”

Schillings says Sorrell Trope, a LA divorce lawyer rumored to be advising the two, denied all claims he had been in contact with the couple saying:

“I have had no contact from… Angelina Jolie and / or Brad Pitt.  I have never met… your clients or had any involvement with either of them. The foregoing is true with respect to all other members of this firm.”

The couple showed they are very much together showing lots of PDA in Miami on Sunday for the Super Bowl XLIV.  They took their oldest boy, Maddox, to the big game and were even photographed kissing!  CLICK HERE to see lots of photos!
