Brad Pitt Sports A New Accessory On The Red Carpet – A Cane

Last night at the Palm Springs International Film Festival annual awards gala Brad Pitt sported an unusual accessory as he walked the red carpet with baby mama Anelina Jolie, a cane.

Pitt, who was being honored at the festival for his work in Moneyball and Tree of Life, says that he twisted his knee and suffered a torn ACL after wiping out on a ski slope while carrying one of his twins.

“I was carrying my daughter [Vivienne] down the hill and I slipped.  It was either her or me.”

Jolie chimed in that the cane hasn’t slowed him down at all and their daughter is fine:

“I like the cane.  He’s not that kind of guy. He does everything still.  Vivie’s okay.  She was absolutely fine.”
