Brad Pitt Signs On For Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards

 

It has been confirmed by movie bosses at Universal Pictures that Brad Pitt has signed on to star in Quentin Tarantino’s World War II drama Inglorious Bastards.

Tarantino reportedly jetted off to France to meet Pitt while he was there waiting for his twins to be born last month and was able to persuad him to take the role of a Tennessee hillbilly who assembles a team of Jewish-American soldiers in the film.

According to Daily Variety, shooting will begin in Germany this October and Tarantino hopes to have the film ready for next year’s (May 2009) Cannes Film Festival in France.
