Britney Spears Released From Hospital Plus Recap Of The Day

 

Well let’s see if we can recap the Britney Spears drama of the day (so far) in one post leading up to her release earlier today from Cedars-Sinai hospital.

Spears left the Los Angeles medical facility today via an underground tunnel and was accompanied by TV therapist Dr. Phil.  She is now is back at her Los Angeles home with dad Jamie Spears.

According to TMZ, a source at the hospital says that this morning Britney was demanding to leave, screaming at the staff, would not lie or sit still, she could be heard yelling at various staffers, was described by nurses as being “difficult” AND she pulled her IV out. Oh boy, I hope that’s all not true.  If it is, then it appears she doesn’t realize how much help she really needs and we’ll be back at the beginning.

 Dr. Phil visited Britney this morning. “The Dr. Phil Show” is taping a special about her on Monday, which will air on Wednesday. Will she surprise us and be on the show?

Anyways, Dr. Phil released a statment after visiting with her:

“My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.”

We also know that her mom has not headed over to California to try to be by her daughters side because INF has a picture up of Lynne Spears today at a cemetery in Kentwood, Louisiana laying flowers at the grave of her sister, Britney’s aunt, who died last January of breast cancer.

And let’s not forget yesterday when the judge awarded sole legal and physical custody to Kevin Federline pending further order of the Court which is in effect until January 14.

Oh boy, this whole family has had an awful year, Britney obviously leading the way with the worst.  Hopefully this new year can bring some good things for them..
