Britney Spears Recap Part 2

 

So it seems since Britney Spears release from the hospital she has managed to secretly run off with her new paparazzi boyfriend without being seen.  Oh and get this, she tested free of illegal drugs and alcohol during her two-night stay at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a reliable source tells PEOPLE.

“She tested clean,” the source says. “This lady is as clean as clean can be, and has been for some time.“

The source adds the pop star never threatened suicide during the four-hour standoff at her Studio City home Jan. 3, saying such rumors were “bull—-.”

Despite the tons of photographers outside her Beverly Hills home, Britney Spears escaped unnoticed — to the Daily Grill restaurant in Palm Desert with her photographer beau Adnan Ghalib

They say she was seen ”celebrating her [hospital] release with a mimosa champagne” cocktail during the meal, and even “went to the restroom with her champagne flute while [Ghalib] stood outside the door.“  According to reports, the couple is currently holed up together at Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, California.

And lets not forget the Dr. Phil visit.  He wanted to set the record straight by saying:

 ”I went to see Britney at the request of her family, I talked to [her mother] Lynn, I talked to [her father] Jamie, I talked to Bryan, her brother. They were very frustrated that she apparently wasn’t going to be held for a longer period of time.”

As for McGraw’s entering the picture, he said, “Thursday night, the phone rang, and it was Lynn – and she has a very close relationship with my wife, Robin – and, clearly, she was very upset, which you would expect, as any parent would be.”

“I was first contacted by her family over a year ago and have maintained a running dialog with them throughout the last year.”
