Billy Crystal On The Tonight Show With Jay Leno

Can you believe that after 17 years of hosting, Jay Leno’s last day of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is TONIGHT??  Crazy!

Of leaving the show Jay said:

“Will I miss it? Yes, terribly. It’s the most wonderful job ever in show business.”

On Thursday’s show, Billy Crystal, which was Leno’s first “Tonight” guest 17 years ago, came back for a visit and saluted him with a musical medley similar Crystal’s Oscar ceremony opening numbers.

Crystal sang to the tune of ‘My Favorite Things’:

“Mustangs and Mazdas and shiny Mercedes, Model T Fords that he steals from old ladies.”

Starting on Monday, Conan O’Brien will take over The Tonight Show at a newly built studio at nearby Universal City.

Leno will be back on NBC this fall at 10 p.m. EDT for a daily prime-time show.
