Billy Bob Thornton’s Interesting - Or Not - Radio Interview

Billy Bob Thornton, 53, gave a rather bizarre interview on Wednesday with CBC radio’s Canadian broadcaster Jian Ghomeshi about his band, the Boxmasters.
Billy Bob acted annoyed and basically ignored questions while not really giving the host any answers to go with.
Ghomeshi asked Thornton when their band formed and Thornton say’s:
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
The host tries to re-phrase the question about three different times and Thronton continues to act as though he doesn’t get it.
He later rambled on about a monster magazine he read when he was a kid and got then offended when Ghomeshi asked if he was passionate about music.
Thornton snapped:
“Would you say that to Tom Petty?”
He even lashed out at the host for briefly talking about his movie background while introducing him.
Thornton said:
“You were instructed not to talk about shit like that.”
The band later performed a song without Thornton because he didn’t have his instrument saying:
“I’m a drummer. We don’t cart those around at 6 o’clock in the morning.”
I see Joaquin Phoenix all over again….

Billy bob is a discusting animal, The best thing Angelina did was dumb his sick ass. I feel so sorry for his band members that looked so humiliated and embaraced by the stunt bb played on the radio. I would fire his ass from the band that moment. And the reason why he didnt want anyone to talk about his acting is because he could never act, he was terrible. He is a humiliation to his band members and a discusting human being, go away billy no one likes you

He’s brilliant!! Of course he thinks the band and the music comes first. Does not want to distract. It’s easy to see. Forget the acting. And what better public relations! I get it completely. I don’t think it’s weird at all. Anyone remember Mellencamp walking out of interviews because the kept calling him Cougar when he asked them not to. And he did start talking abuot the music. Big Deal.

Jian, great job of handling this puffed up moron. You should have kicked him out of the studio the moment he started acting like a petulant child. What a total and utter moron. He’s made eight albums? Cosmic cowboy music? Give me a break!

Have they actually started cloning humans? This guy has no ideal what’s going on. He’s not being evasive, I think his memories been wiped clean by the alien race “The Xeno Reptiles”.

I see a disturbing lack of compassion in the replies. “dislikesbillybob” is either a troll or suffering from mental illness himself.
Thornton is obviously neurotic, possibly psychotic. But he’s still brilliant, creative and one hell of an actor.
Genius and madness do tend to go hand in hand. If Thornton was in a situation in which he felt threatened, then his hostility to the interviewer is understandable, as is the oddness of his responses.
