Author Michael Crichton Has Died Of Cancer At Age 66

Author Michael Crichton had died of cancer at the age of 66.

Crichton has written many successful book including the The Andromeda Strain, Congo, Disclosure, Timeline, State of Fear, Prey, and Next.

He is also the creator of ER, but most famous for being the author of Jurassic Park, and its sequel The Lost World, both adapted into high grossing films and lead to the very successful franchise.

Crichton died yesterday in L.A.  His rep called the death “unexpected.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this sad time.

    Michael Crichton’s death makes me so sad. I have spent countless hours with him in his novels…and the time in between waiting in anticipation of the next adventure. RIP
