Angelina Jolie Calls Shiloh An Outcast

I wish Angelina Jolie would stop saying these kind of remarks, seperating her biological daughter with Brad Pitt, 20-month-old Shiloh from her adopted children Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 2. I know she means no harm and she loves them all, but it just sounds so….mean. Is Shiloh going to have to grow up feeling her adopted siblings were favored because they had more ‘needs’?
She says she feels more of a connection to her adopted kids than her baby with Brad Pitt, because tthe others have already survived such pain and poverty in their young lives.
She say’s “Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. But I’m conscious that I have to make sure I don’t ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.”
She says, “(Shiloh) looks like Brad. It’s funny because she’s almost going to be the outcast in the family because she’s blonde and blue-eyed. I felt so much more for Madd, Zahara and Pax because they were survivors.”

That’s horrible. This isn’t the first time she has made these awful comments about her own daughter. It’s not Shiloh’s fault she decided to adopt all these children of different races, she should treat them all the same, they were all young enough when they first came to her family they wont remember not being ‘privileged’ They are all privileged now and have the same needs.
Poor Shiloh.

Why did she even have the poor kid. All she does is talk trash about her. I’ll adopt her and give her the love she needs. Geez.

i think she foreshadows that Shiloh will be worshipped because she is the biological daughter of famously worshipped parents. From these comments i can only suspect that she is trying to raise Shiloh as a realist and keep her grounded. As a woman on a press pedestal herself, i think she is trying to even things out between her children. Not that her other children are not equally beautiful, but the views of society are not balanced, open minded or fair. From the view of the audience, she seems to me to be successful in every category, and i can only conclude that she is smart enough to raise her own children in an ingeniuos way. Good for you, Angelina.

i guess when all is quiet on the jolie-pitt front, no new interviews, its time for the uk tabs to make up some crap to get them back in the spotlight. awww…good old sun so reliable and never dissapoints with their fabrications. i just wish they were more creative with their spin sometimes. this one is lame.

Yes, in this case when she say’s outcast she is basically referring to her looks, but this isnt the first time she has made statements about poor little Shiloh. and saying that she cares more for her adopted chilren is just sickening.

Why is coloring so important to Angelina? Who cares if your child has blond hair and blue eyes, and if coloring is so important why would Shiloh be the outcast? Both parents are white. Both have blue eyes. One has blond hair. If you want to go by looks if anything , Zahara would be the outcast as she’s the only black child in the family, and her other two children are asian and Shiloh and her two parents are white. But Angelina seems to say that ‘Shiloh’ is the ‘outcast’. Is it that in her mind and her heart that’s how she feels about her? Why is she ‘going to be the outcast’. It sounds like Angelina is casting her into a role. Or perhaps she’s using her to express her own feelings about how she felt growing up, as she said she felt like an outcast next to her ‘priveledged’ peers. It’s too bad that Shiloh was born into ‘priveldge’ because it’s as if she lost a mother. As she grows up she’s going to see the difference in her mother’s apparent feelings for her compared to her adopted children whom Angelina sees as vulnerable. If her mother really did see a legitimate threat to her daughter in the fact that she could be an outcast, why not try to take steps to ensure that is not the case by adopting another child with blond hair and blue eyes from Russia or somewhere? Then there would be nothing to worry about and no need to even bring this up, and if Shiloh is ‘going to be’ the out cast because of her blond hair and blue eyes does this mean Angelina has no intention of adopting another needy child because it has blond hair and blue eyes. Why is coloring important and why does there even have to be an ‘outcast’ in the first place?

If you want to balance out your children, then when the Tussaud’s wax museum made a model of Pitt, Jolie and ‘there child’ Shiloh, ask or rather demand that they make one of Maddox , and Zahara as well. Then one of Pax when he came along later. Even if you have to pay for it, or you’ll sue. I would be hurt and offeneded if not all my children were represented, especially since the children are going to realize this when they grow up. What if Maddox ask’s why didn’t they make one of me? You demand it, and if they don’t listen which I’m sure they would even if you have to pay whatever amount, you publicly boycott them then build one of your own. I would be hurt thinking how my child would feel. If you want something bad enough you’ll find a way.
