Amy Poehler Set To Host Season Premiere Of Saturday Night Live With Musical Guest Katy Perry

NBC has announced that Amy Poehler will be hosting the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 25.

The late night comedy show will be launching its 36th season with Katy Perry as the musical guest.

It was recently announced that cast member Will Forte would not be returning to the  show after eight seasons and Jenny Slate left after one season.  NBC adds that SNL will welcome four new cast members this season; Vanessa Bayer, Paul Brittain, Taran Killam (TEH’-ruhn KIHL’-uhm) and Jay Pharoah.

This could actually be a good one.  Love Amy Poehler!
