American freestyle motocross rider Jeremy Lusk Dead

February 10, 2009

Jeremy Lusk died of head injuries Tuesday after crashing while trying to land a back flip in competition. He was just 24.

Chief of the intensive care unit at Calderon Hospital, Jorge Ramirez,  said the motocross racer suffered spine and brain damage.

Ramirez said Lusk died with his parents and his wife, Lauren, at his side.

“He was in a medicine-induced coma as a protective measure, and the medicine was being reduced to see how his body responded,” he said. “That didn’t mean he was going to wake up. He was in shock and that got worse last night, until he stopped responding and entered into cardiac and respiratory failure.”

Our hearts go out to Jeremy’s family and friends during this difficult time.

    b) “clensing.” clever, dipshit. i believe that you were going for “cleansing,” but the lack of mental capacity resulted in that spelling error. dictionary.com, you fucking idiot. it’ll save you the trouble of appearing to be the fucking douche that you actually are.

  12. jeff Says:

jeremy lived for 48 hours after the wreck he mad it threw a surgery that they gave him only a 5 percent chance of making to take down the swelling of his brain. He was breathing on his own thats a good sign. He suffered a broken jaw and brain damage no sign of a broken back or neck he was put into a medical coma and was about to be air ambulaced to miami but for some reason they try to to see what he would do if they reduced the meds which was dumb he went into shock and thats were he lost the fight it looked so positive till that now will never know if he would of made it
