Al Gore And Wife Tipper Gore Announce Separation

Former U.S. Vice President/documentary filmmaker Al Gore and his wife Tipper have announced they are separating after 40 years of marriage.
An email from the couple to Politico reads:
“We are announcing today that after a great deal of thought and discussion, we have decided to separate. This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration.”
The two celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary just last month and have 4 kids together.
